LEESBURG - The Quarter Back club has dedicated their book to Coach H.O. Dabney who served as head coach of L.C.T.S. and Carver Heights for nine years. During this time he has a record of 52 wins and 12 losses. They have also won trophies in, track, basketball, etc. Coach Dabney is very well known throughout Florida, not only form sports, but church and civic work as well. For a number of years, he conducted a spiritual program over WLBE; he is also assistant superindent of the Sunday School of St. Paul A.M.E. church.

He made All-American halfback at Xavier University, and now is married to the former Miss Rebecca Brown. They have a little daughter named Debra O'donna. Coach Dabney is also the one who organized the Quarterback Club after attending a summer program at F.AM.U. The club is very happy to work with a man like him who truly exemplifies the virtues of finer Athletics loyalty, strength, merit, efficiency, valor, chastity, and morality; and who has a deep admiration for humanity and in return is love and admired by all.

The Quarterback Club feels proud to dedicate their book to a man like Coach H.O. Dabney, head coach of the Carver Heights High School, Leesburg.
