Trojans To Mark Homecoming Game Thursday, November 15, 1960

Thursday of this week is an important day for the Carver Heights Trojans football squad. At that time, they will meet the Melbourne Gophers for the number one spot in the Central Florida Athletic Conference.

At present, the Carver Heights boys have to offer a 3-0 conference record, while the Gophers stand second with a 3-1 record. The winner in this game is certain to emerge "champ".

On tap also is Homecoming. A huge parade starts at 4 p.m., featuring six bands and a number of floats and decorated cars. The Parade route begins at Lake and Pine Street and then proceeds downtown. A big street parade is scheduled for Wednesday night starting at 7:30 p.m. Then on Thursday, the Homecoming parade and the big game at 8 p.m.

Melbourne's band will give the pre-game show starting at 7:30 p.m. The marching Trojans will be featured at half-time.
