The Leesburg Carver High Trojans of the Central Florida Athletic conference stepped out of their conference last night to play the Ocala Wildbulls of the Big Nine North Conference to a 6-6 tie before a large crowd in Ocala.

The Trojans played the Wildbulls off their feet and kept a scoreless game going until later in the third quarter, when Captain Eddie Jo Sneed of the Trojans set up a touchdown by moving the ball down to the 10-yard ten-yard line and Willie Hannah took the pigskin over for the first score of the game. Try for extra point failed.

In two minutes of playing time in the fourth quarter, the Wildbulls came back with a tally, to even the game up at 6-6.

Joe Smiley, halfback for the Wildbulls, took a 50-yard pass from quarterback Jack Rennier. Try for the extra point failed.

Next Thursday night at 2 p.m., Leesburg Carver High Trojans will be back home in the Venetian Gardens ball park to meet the DeLand Tigers in a Central Florida Athletic Conference battle.
